How right you are. However, one must be flexible and open to new ideas. Occasionally, in the past, some have thought me to be 'set in my ways'. But as one gets a little older, he discovers that certain changes are inevitable. Hence, the Wheaties. Frosted Flakes has too much sugar, and the effects of sugar excess are well documented in older folks, such as myself.
Aargh!! How could I forget the head of lettuce?? My short term memory seems to have been adversely affected by my sudden sugar withdrawal. As for the potatoes, please understand, triple portaging is not my style. I get around the pesky rangers by marinating my spuds in my leech locker. I've never had one yet to check my leeches for contraband spuds. Of course the leeches are on ice in my new ultimate BWJ cooler, which can be seen in any issue of the BWJ. That cooler is also in my BWJ ultimate canoe pack, or did I mention that earlier. I really should give up on reading back issues when I'm seeking creative ideas for future issues. I find, if I'm not careful, I may occasionally repeat an idea as it is my idea, and is worth repeating, even if I forgot I said it. Eat well, and did I mention that the steaks are from an elk I shot out west? Keep the open side up. Stew |
