Are you guys kidding me?  The best meal in canoe country is shore lunch with fresh caught walleye.  

I don't doubt any of you who bring steaks, etc., but there is absolutely nothing better than walleye fillets that were swimming just minutes ago, lightly breaded and seasoned, and pan fried.  Add a side dish of wild rice and eat 'til you're ready for a nap! :)
