figured since there was so little activity, nobody would mind me revivng this here thread......  

a group of us camped at wildcat mtn. this past sept.....  did a day float trip from there with a shuttle from the local canoe rental folks.......  very enjoyable...... very easy......  and beautiful...... limestone cliffs round every turn...... no wildlife, save a nice dairy cow at the water's edge.......

fishing wasn't good, but we were fly fishing and did manage a few trout...... and a couple weird minnow things that got up to 6 in. or so.......  supposedly the tribs. nearby have better trout fishing.....

a good time..... highly recommended for the scenery and the ease of paddling.....
