What % of the trip do you travel/base camp? Depends on the company, usually like to stay for 2 nights in one spot.
What difficulty level do you go for?  Again, it depends on who I’m with.  Not afraid of lounging or busting my hump.
What area of the park are you most familiar with and do you want to spend time there or explore new areas?  Most familiar with BWCA;  LLC and Basswood areas.
 
Paddling  
Bow or stern preference? Stern
What is your paddling rhythm? Controlled.
Paddle the shoreline or beeline? Shoreline
How nasty of water are you comfortable paddling in? I don’t like rollers….
Do you have strong navigation/map skills? Army orienteering training, pretty comfortable.
 
Portaging  
Do you usually single/double/triple/or? portage? Single to 1.5
Do you carry everything on your back, or alot of hand carry? back
How well do you handle the mountain goat portages? fine
How well do you handle the boot sucking bogs? I just like to touch bottom.

Camping Style  
Would you rather cook or wash the dishes? Same as at home; cook.
Fresh or dried foods? A mix
Cook over a fire, or over a stove? Mostly stove
Cook breakfast or breakfast bars? either
How many fish meals do you like to have during a trip? At least every evening
Hang the food pack or ground it? ground
Axe? Saw? Both? both
Sit around campfire all night OR wake at crack of dawn? (or both) depends on if the fishing is good or not.  I do like to socialize….
On a travel day, what time do you like to hit the water?  No later than 7 a.m.

Fishing  
How much time do you like to spend fishing? Most of the day.
Which species do you like to go after? SMB, ‘eyes, lakers, pike.
How much tackle to you bring? Two rods, two small boxes
Are you good with a fillet knife? Decent.
 
Misc  
Do you have any medical conditions to be considered? nope
Level of alcohol consumption? Depends on how much my campmates snore. I like wine or Maker’s Mark.
Are you a smoker? On occasion
Is photography high on your list? Top 5
Do you like to go after pictographs? Not really
Do you like to go after waterfalls? I like them for sleeping and fishing
Do you like to go after the northern lights? I like them.
 
Personality  
If the bugs are bad, will it ruin the trip for you? No, but I usually schedule my trip around them.
What weather conditions are difficult for you to deal with? High winds
If we've got a problem, would you rather discuss it or bury it? Discuss, but I usually bury.
Other than illness or injury what events or conditions would make you want to quit a trip early and head home? nothing.
