Been around as a Guest for awhile, and decided I should introduce myself!

Basics
Where do you live?  Northern Suburbs of the Twin Cities
Approximate number of previous nights spent canoe camping? Hundreds
Do you have the gear or use an outfitterer?  Use an outfitter for the canoe, otherwise have all our own stuff
Preferred/Typical party size? 2
What length of trips do you do/available to do? 7-10 days
Preferred season? Late August
What % of the trip do you travel/base camp? Travel every day, unless weather is bad
What difficulty level do you go for?  Pretty difficult
What area of the park are you most familiar with and do you want to spend time there or explore new areas?  Have yet to go into Quetico.  Try to see different routes/lakes in the BWCA each time we go in.

Paddling
Bow or stern preference?  Stern, all the way.
What is your paddling rhythm?  Steady she goes!  
Paddle the shoreline or beeline?  Shoreline
How nasty of water are you comfortable paddling in?  Fairly nasty
Do you have strong navigation/map skills? Not too shabby

Portaging
Do you usually single/double/triple/or? portage? Double
Do you carry everything on your back, or alot of hand carry?  As much on the back as possible
How well do you handle the mountain goat portages? Not my favorite...depends on how long they are
How well do you handle the boot sucking bogs? No problem....don't care for the leeches that can come along though

Camping Style
Would you rather cook or wash the dishes?  Cook
Fresh or dried foods? Fresh
Cook over a fire, or over a stove?  Stove
Cook breakfast or breakfast bars? Very rarely have hot breakfasts
How many fish meals do you like to have during a trip? Zippo!
Hang the food pack or ground it? Been known to do either
Axe? Saw? Both?  Saw
Sit around campfire all night OR wake at crack of dawn? (or both)  In bed by 9 or 10, up by 7
On a travel day, what time do you like to hit the water? 7-7:30

Fishing
How much time do you like to spend fishing?  Don't fish while on trips
Which species do you like to go after?
How much tackle to you bring?
Are you good with a fillet knife?

Misc
Do you have any medical conditions to be considered? No
Level of alcohol consumption? Travel pretty light, so don't bring any on the trip
Are you a smoker? Nope
Is photography high on your list?  Not really
Do you like to go after pictographs? Sure
Do you like to go after waterfalls? Sure
Do you like to go after the northern lights? If I see them, great....but I don't go crazy over them.

Personality
If the bugs are bad, will it ruin the trip for you?  Hopefully not...but I might get a little cranky
What weather conditions are difficult for you to deal with?  High winds are draining....but I'd rather walk the shore with the canoe if possible then stay put for an extra day.
If we've got a problem, would you rather discuss it or bury it?  Depends on the issue
Other than illness or injury what events or conditions would make you want to quit a trip early and head home?  Broken paddle, since we never bring an extra
