Excellent point about the dangers of soloing, in general, and especially re: "bushwhacking."  An outfitter I once used told me about a "soloing" fellow he helped carry out the week before.  The guy had nearly cut off his own thumb while hatcheting wood for his campfire.  At least he had camped where he could be found, alongside a busier waterway, rather than by himself on your Mystery Lake.

Anyway, don't YOU fret about breaking your own ankle en route.  I'll be glad to give you a ride using my new Wenzel Load Hauler (see Food Pack & Pantry thread).  I just can't promise that I will be able to deliver you to the correct lake....
