I can picture the senerio.  I am sound asleep.  My dream is interrupted by a whining toddler, the dream becomes very realistic, even the burning sensation in my nose of the diaper that needs to be changed, why isn't my wife getting up to take care of it, I remember she is out of town, I awaken to perform the task only to find Old Salt sleeping peaceably next to me, still with that same bean eating grin from the evening meal etched on his face.

One of us is going for a swim . . .
