Is there anyone out there who has done this route, via either the old fur trade era routes of Mississippi r. - Savanna Portage - Saint Louis R. - portage - Vermillion R - Canadian border, or Mississippi R. - portages - Big fork R - portages - Rainy River (Grand Mound Historical monument)?
If not, has any member of the forum been on a part of these routes? What were they like? |
