A few years ago I had picked up my permit for a Bdub entry and was informed of a total fire ban in effect in the area I was heading to.  I had a flank steak marinating in the food pack, and was faced with trying to grill that on a Coleman suitcase.  I made a stop in an Ely antique store before going out and found a 6" x 8" cast iron heater grate that worked perfectly.
