I think that the people inhabiting this one are some of the most comfortable I've run across. There seems to be a lack of attitude here that is hightly prevalent on the others I've been on.  This group is more like the real people I run across in the wilderness, a peaceful calm that shows strength and confidence as a result of solid experience. A genuine cameraderie I don't see much in cyberspace but run across frequently around campfires way out in the wild.

This is why I elected to set up a base camp here.  I daytrip from time to time on other sites, but this one gets 99% of my energy and focus for these very reasons.

I think it proves that the wilderness will shape us, if we let it.  This is a community full of those who let the wilderness shape them, rather than the other way around.
