A friend and I will be entering Quetico at Prairie Portage on June 9 and making our way up perhaps as far as Burt or Brent Lakes before making our way back to the Basswood River. We will be doing some serious fishing, but we'd love to loosely plan to swap fish stories (or fish catches for that matter) with anyone who will be in the area during that time. We will probably base camp in Sarah and/or Brent Lakes depending on how aggressive our first two days are.

On your way to Sarah do not overlook the fishing on the small lakes along the way. My advice is to take your time and fish along a few of the smaller lakes.
