The Beaver, I thought it was a great idea, but a bit harder to organize.  
I floated the idea by the people that run the Alliant place and the did not really say yes, they did not say no, but they have an agreement with the concessionair that they are the only ones to cater an event on the property.  
That being said, we could informally have a tail gate but if it got too big or too organized...I am not sure.  
I think organizing something off site is the way to go at least for now.  I do not want to open a can of worms here but if QJ was behind the event and it was not done through proper chanels then.... and we do not need any headachs.  It sounds so simple but with buracracy (sic) there is always something.
Maybe when we are there we could talk to them again, along with the Copia organizers and see if we can come up with something.  If I remember kingfisher said he may donate a few walleye fillets to the kettle. ;)
