I usually don't bring anything odd or frivolous, except one time I brought freeze-dried ice cream sandwiches.  That wasn't so good.  I'd say the venison stix Gimp_of_01 brings along are a sure-fire snack.

What I miss food-wise is gyros sandwiches.  Heck, I'm jonesin' for one right now.
