Read this one last year, it was good, but I found it to be a difficult read.  I have been to the jungle in Brazil, with the Marubu indian tribe back in 2001 on a mission trip for church.  It helped me to really relate to whole story.  Those are real woods.  It seems everything there is out to kill you.  I got to go fishing in a dugout canoe on the Ituai River which is a tributary of the Amazon.  We had to fly into the tribe in a bush plane.  I got to swim in the river with pirahnas and South American Caymen.:-/  It was like a National Geographic trip of a lifetime.  Heading back to Manaus Brazil in 2011 to go Peacock Bass fishing on the Amazon.  Can't wait!! ;D
