I agree with OS, cooking is fun and rewarding, but so is fishing and getting an early start.  We mix breakfasts up, some no cook, and cook, and do them as needed, per what we feel is needed for the next day.  Works out pretty well.  First camp morning on trip, however, got to have the scrambled eggs or french toast and bacon, (mostly pre cooked) no matter what.  Tradition is tradition!
