cooking is enjoyable, and that's why I leave it for when I have the time. I like to be on the water within an hour of sunrise, it is the best time to paddle because it's usually calm with mist on the water. Wind picks up around the time most people finally get on the water after preparing and cleaning up. If I cook it is usually lunch when the wind is high. I often paddle to sunset, which is also the best time to paddle. After the sun has set is another time I cook. It's called BWcanoeAW, not BWcookingAW.
