Thanks for the comments everyone. I shall try that eggs-in-a-bag method. This winter I hope to do some local sagebrushing (car camping) so bringing a cooler won't be a problem.
Fishinbuddy, how many eggs per bag and what size of bags do you use? Also, I assume you thaw them while still in the bag?
