I tried one of the MH pro packs this past weekend on a solo backpacking trip in northern wisconsin. It tasted pretty good, was ready super quick, and eating directly out of the bag worked great. The portion size was pretty good as well.    I also had regular style 'chicken stew' also from mountain house. It was so so. One nice thing was that it was a meal for two and since it was just me there was TONS of food.
