Hello,
I paddled the Thlewiaza River which is featured on Real Bérard's "Land of the Little Sticks" map. It was fairly accurate and fun to look at although Hap Wilson's book "Paddling Manitoba" was more detailed and covers many of the same areas that Bérard's maps do. |

i used them extensivley through out the Little North. They are not suitable for navigation- but for reference. In some places Real has mixed up the side of the river where he has marked a trail- the map of the Pigeon Rvier comes to mind.
All of ths said- Real is a giant of an artist and canoe route documentarian. He grealty influenced my own work on the Canoe Atlas of The Little North. it has been my honor to correspond with him and to present to him a copy of the Atlas. Jon Berger |
