Title: tackle organizer Post by prouboy on Apr 17th, 2009 at 8:42pm
I like to change lures frequently when I'm fishing in the QP.
Problem: Try as I might, I have a hard time keeping my lures organized when I'm in the canoe. I know I should return them each time to the tackle box, but I'm basically lazy, so the lures end up on the bottom of the canoe, stuck in the wood trim of the boat, or worse, stuck in my shoelaces... This year I'm trying a new approach: a length of pipe insulation sliced on one side lengthwise and then pushed over the side of the canoe...see attached photo. I'm excited..this system seems easy and convenient, lightweight, and portable (can be moved wherever you are in the canoe). What other ways do all of you keep your lures "under control" in the boat, other than religiously returning them to your tackle box? prouboy P4170035.jpg ( 68 KB | 0
