Title: Re: Trip & Meal Planning
Post by Woods_Walker on May 21st, 2009 at 9:44pm
Thanks for the replies so far... lots of good ideas & suggestions. I like the seperate bags for B-L-D & another for snacks. I will have to make an effort to eat at a scheduled time... it seems when I get out hunting or paddling I can go pretty much all day without eating.

My trip with my son in June will be a pretty easy loop, just 65 miles in 10 days, so we can layover a day here & there. I am not too worried about planning each days goals.... I will have them in mind, but will go with the flow.

This meal thing is something I need to figure out. When I mentioned the 8 person trip in August, it will be me, my wife & 2 kids (14 & 16yrs), with my brother, his wife & there 2 kids (6 & 10yrs  ) My family has been on one other trip with me, but my brothers family is new to this.

I am planning entering Moose River North & camping on Boulder or Tiger bay & then day trip from there & come back out. So pretty easy... wondering if we could make it to Boulder in a day... I have my doubts.
