I’m heading in on 13June for 8 days, can’t wait. I’ll be with one of my 22yr old sons. This time it’s just the two of us. I hope to spend some high quality time with him, so we are planning an easy trip with a few base camps and lot’s of time fishing. We’re putting in at Nym then playing around in the West arm of Pickerel and Batchewaung Bay for a few days before heading through Jesse to Oriana. We may base camp in Oriana or Jesse, haven’t decided yet, then we’ll head back to Nym either through Hamburg or back through Jesse. ….Or maybe we’ll head down to Walter instead. On this trip our travel schedule will be very flexible, very light and very relaxed. I plan to bring plenty of good food THIS TIME (last year we ran out of food by the last day, so it was just fish for breakfast and dinner), I will force myself to take lots of photos and video, never seem to take enough.

So…. if any of you happen to be in that area at that time and see a couple guys with fishing rods permanently attached to their arms, floatin’ around in a SR canoe with a Canoe Canada logo, give us a wave.

Have a great trip Jimmar!  I envy you.  June 13th is usually the time we are heading out and it is my favorite time to be out there.  We are going to have to wait until the end of August this year, and it is hard to be missing the canoe country in spring.  Enjoy!

Leave some fish in Jesse/Orianna for my fall trip. It could be much worse than having to eat fish for breakfast and dinner in one of the most scenic areas one can ever imagine.

Just kidding about eating Art, I'm sure he's fine. I am going to LLC. Sept 4. I was there last year with my wife for our 12th anniversary. I want to climb warrior hill, and check out the picto's. We were supposed to do that last year, but the wind ,and the fact we were without the 3 kids for the first time in 10 years, kept us from pressing on. ;) Happy trails Jimmar, may the fish gods smile on you and your son.  

We plan to go in at Sawbill on August 31st, so we'll be taking out again on September 5th, if all goes as expected.   Don't have a route figured out yet, but we can find several good ones from that entry point.

Well….both of my sons have dropped out now. They both got summer jobs that won’t allow time off, one in Iowa the other in Minnesota. It’s back to me and my wife, which was what it was originally when I started planning this trip last winter. I told her that I would go solo, but she protested. She’s a veteran of Sylvania but never been to Quetico or BW. I think she’ll like it, but she’s feeling kind of rushed now. Probably same route and same leisurely pace.
