I had a chance over the Holiday too see this in action.
I attended a cook-out, and when evening came, the mosquito's came out in droves. It was bad enough that most people went inside or lathered on the bug dope.
It was cool enough for a campfire, and I ended up sitting next too a lady and soon noticed the mosquito's were avoiding her and me as well?
I remarked in jest that I must smell bad but she pointed out this little personal protector she had clipped to her chair opposite of my/our side.
Might be a good thing, a few of these clipped under a tarp for the "bloodletting" hours right after dusk. Might even work well in canoe for night fishing, IF the breeze wasn't too strong
