Haven't used one, but have used wood burn'ahs. I like the looks of it and might buy one later in the summer.

just wanted to add I brought this stove to temagami with me for 9 days and really like it. you want to keep a little stockpile of wood but it will boil water faster than my buddies msr. It cooked some nice meals and will try the outback oven on it on my next trip.

I would consider a wood stove called, Bush Buddy, made in Canada.  It's very pricey, but works great and light weight.  The other wood stove is a Honey Stove from the UK.  Folds flat and can be used with many pots. I own both of the stoves.

I have used these kayaking over the last two years.

Pretty cool. My buddy is into the "minimal gear" type thinking and would flip over one of these. I thought about getting one for him.........I like 'im but not quite that much. Maybe I'll just send him the link.  [smiley=dankk2.gif]

I don't think wood-burners are legal in a fireban, something to consider.
