Well NHawk sounds like if you can't hack it in the woods without simple cooking utinsels, you don't belong there.  From what i've read 1000 dollars is an insane amount of money to refund over something so small.  that was probably almost half your trip refunded because you had to wait for new silverware?  If NCCO was this generous to me i would go into the BWCA every year with them.  Assuming from the way you complain of this incident as a life or death situation, you must be from the cities, so please stay there next time, and leave the outdoors for the nonwhiny people.
