Well, I have been canoe tripping for 38 years (mainly BW but some in Quetico and Algonquin and even once in Temagami) and we have never fished.  So I guess the closest I could come was two years ago when I posted a POD of four-year-old Anna with her little bluegill on Clearwater Lake off the Gunflint.  Until today when I took a photo of "Sherman from Bloomington MN" with his northern pike on East Twin Lake near Ely.  He said it was over four pounds and he appeared quite proud of it.  Unfortunately, QJ won't let me attach my photo to this message for some reason.   :-/
