O_S and S_T -- your guys are a tough audience!  

The foam worked great.  No snags, no blood, no snarled knot of lures.  I'd say it was an improvement.  As for the snag...no way!  See the attached photo..this is what I/we were bringing in....two straight nights of walleye from the same hole.  Kinda made up for all the damn people we saw.  

But, I came home and sold the Bell Northwind.  A beautiful canoe, but too heavy.  Just bought a Souris River Quetico 17 from Redrock Outfitters.
