We've seen more moose on trips coming in from the north than coming up from the south.

But once in late October, coming in through Prairie Portage, we saw them seemingly everywhere: on Burke portage, North Bay shoreline, Agnes shoreline and some unnamed lake near Jeff, off top of my head. I guess once the people went home, they came out of "hiding."

Makes me wonder what the winter is like.
