I agree with those that said the road between Hwy 11 and the Beaverhouse parking lot is a decent road.  Back in the day, it was difficult to get in there without the clearance of a truck.  Nowadays, a car would get you there just fine.  Might have to take it a little easy in a couple spots, but they're not a big deal.

And honestly, if you can't find your way to the parking lot with the signs they have on the road, both on Hwy 11 and the gravel road heading south, you're blind.  It's 14 miles from blacktop to parking lot with no turns that don't have signs.

If the outfitters get their way and Beaverhouse becomes an "Outfitters Only" entry point, I would not be a happy man.  I have not heard this before and I doubt it would happen anyway.  We fully outfit ourselves, other than the occasional solo canoe from Q-Dave, so this would not be a good thing for us.
