Well I tried the oven again a couple days later, had the thermometer up to 275-300 and it worked fine.
Diane used the jello mold three times last week for cornbread, an apple cinnamon muffin mix and a bisquick muffin mix. This definitely changes everything. :) It was worth bringing along.
