Looks good.
Since your going to be "tinkering", I suggest you try making my version of the Flashing Oven? Cheap and works great. You can cook on stove, over coals or fire, and a little rain won't bother you either. Here's the general plans, and a link to pics. If your interested, PM with any specific questions?
