Every time I hear of someone who lost a camera, I keep thinking of the advice I was given a while back.  The person said, I should take a picture of my home address + phone number as the first shot, and save those pictures to a more stable location ASAP. Good luck, maybe someone will run across it.

 In different times, that would be an excellent idea, BUT since you never know WHO is going to find your camera, I wouldn't be putting a picture of my HOME address on it just in case the "finder" is of less than noble character?  I think I would give a WORK number, or maybe the Ranger Station instead? MAYBE, an e-mail address :-/ OFF-LOADING your precious pictures is a good idea many find out about the hard way.
