Since you said "last year" I'll limit to that time frame.

Found hanging from a tree at a campsite on Paull Lake Woodland Caribou Provincial Park (Ontario)

Compass with lanyard and emergency whistle attached.  (I hope this was a spared ... several lakes and lots of portages from here to any exit.)

Paddles: Started one trip with 3 paddles; ended with 5 (left spares with outfitter).
