Thanks again to everyone for information on the subject! I live up here so when I heard of Polymet I said do we really need another grand canyon of the north? do we need more waste rock dumps? We call the dumps up here the coffee grounds and are basically just used for mud running and snowmobiles. And if we do find the need to make more, can we do something with it? I have heard of propositions by civil engineers to make more walkways viewing places, and maybe swimholes, but what real good does that do? Up atop the dumps there is a lot of wind, can that be used for green energy? Can we possibly find some way to make this useful for more than just metal(s)?
