mad_mat: I agree with much of what you said, however there are most likely a few hundred thousand other folks that would very much like a fine paying job for 20, or 15, or 10, or 5  or less years......I certainly think many would find that preferable to being held captive in borderline poverty while collecting continueing welfare or unemployment for 5 or 10 or 15 or 20 or more years while we wait with our heads buried in the sand because of fearing something someday someway may happen...sure rockets explode, interstate bridges colapse , and Parish and Saints (New Orleans) wash away, but we rebuild and continue on...where would we be if we didn't :question It would be great if we could continue to suck other countrys dry of their resources before we tap into ours, but they may have other plans that don't include us :o It would be great to wait till latter to use our own resources, but perhaps it's already latter than you and I think . Yes that big swamp sounds nice, but not every square foot of property can be locked up for the sole purpose of our private pleasure to oohhh & ahhhhh....millions not quite like us may feel diferently, and it wouldn't be polite of us to expect those other millions to bow to our whims ::)  Recently my rich uncle gave me a present that makes me a shareowner in 60% of a failing automotive co. , now that I find myself manufacturing cars, I feel I should get the steel right here a little closer to home...that way I also save in  fuel & costs by not having to transport the materal from somewhere across the globe...this also makes me feel very green and oh so warm and fuzzy :D   I also want to get my share, which I think I might have already gotten and I shouldn't be so greedy that I would deney the upcomming generation their piece of the pie just because I wory about some disaster that may never happen :P that would also be non- polite of me :)  the politeness police czar may not smile if that would happen......well, better go, I already had to redial and start all over again.....better not take too many chances, besides the longer I type, the more resources I am wasteing :-[ :-X
