I didn't say he was a friend - only that I have respected some of his opinions whilst absorbing some of his lectures.

You post has many sentiments that I would echo db.  I saw his signature at the end of the article and said to myslef; "Great he's gone political and joined the dork side"  He should have stuck with the MN Conservation Volunteer contributor title.

I don't care about trucks.  I can see them and hear them coming.  Bicyclists on the other hand . . . . >:(

Future doesn't concern me much either.  I know what it holds and what happens today doesn't change it - trucks or no trucks.
