with the neoprene liner, the storm is a warm boot compared to the otb sans liner. i wore the storms at iceout without problem, but would have to wear a neoprene bootie with the otb for the same level of comfort. whatever socks you usually wear are fine for the rest of the year except the fall shoulder season where you might go back to a bootie.

i would not use neoprene unless i felt i had to. if you use a neoprene bootie, extra foot care required.

the orb model has built in foot warmers. hard to find though, usually backordered.
