Hey, guys. I searched for this, I swear, but found no threads. I bit the bullet and bought a terrific canoe last summer, and I am planning on carting it on up to the BW from Mississippi this summer in July. Mississippi requires no registration on canoes, but if you choose to register one, the cost is prohibitive. I have gleaned that we can register our baby in Minnesota for a realistic fee, but I am having a problem figuring out how to do so. Can anyone lend me a hand, here? Thanks so much.

Oh, we are going in on a Tuesday, and can be in Ely before 3 that Monday. Willing, though not thrilled by, the prospect of doing the registration sometime Monday in Minneapolis/St Paul or, better, in Duluth. This is if we can't handle this by phone or online, of course.
