I just read your trip report and enjoyed it very much.
My husband and I took our eight-year old daughter on her first canoe trip in Algonquin Park back in 1977, entering the park on the Tim River, and Tim Lake, only canoeing as far as Rosebury Lake and Longbow Lake, and then going back the way we came. We did see a moose, but no bear, which was just fine with us! We have only been back to Algonquin once, and that was just for a weekend paddle on Opeongo Lake in 1989. It's a nice area, but we do prefer the BWCA. Thanks for sharing this trip report. |
