For that kind of money it better walk and talk! If it could talk I wonder what kind of stories it would tell?

Ummmm, is this guy smoking crack?  Just because something was patented in the 1880s, doesn't mean it was manufactured then.  Did I miss where he proves the age of this particular pack?

Too bad there's only one. You'd really need a pair for them to 'Look' good in the canoe.

All he needs is one idiot to pony up some cash.  I bet if you offered $1000 it would be yours, no questions asked.  I also bet you'd find it's nowhere near as old as advertised.

Gee, I wonder what that makes my lightning pack, that hangs in DP's retail store, worth.........the owners know of no other that has been struck by lightning making it possibly the only one in existance. I guess I should have put it on ebay for a price.

How does the blurb posted in the store go?..........priceless

WR

P.S. Duluth Pack has documentation that could verify a time frame in which that pack was made. I believe it was made before Duluth Tent and Awning bought Poirier's patent in 1911 so it is at least 100 years old......but 50K, I'll pass

All of you are really missing out on this deal.  This listing was on Ebay two months ago for and I sh*t you not $100,000 :o  Maybe he is looking for a short sale ;D  Just don't step in it when it smells like it.

Sweet!  Finally, justification for keeping all of my old, but in good shape camping gear!
