the eagle 245 was priced right between the x4 and x4 pro. and yes the external housing and buttons on the unit are identical. the way the specifications on the packaging was written, it was impossible to compare units. maybe i'll take it back and get the lowrance instead. it's a 5 min drive to basspro...
