Mat
I'm probably more like you when it comes to "lunches" than not. To be honest I usually don't even eat lunch when canoe tripping. ( I eat lunch backpacking though) And yea, I like to work hard. Seems like that oatmeal breakfast really powers me through and I always have "1 per day" regular sized snickers bar to eat on a portage. I drink a lot of water though. Me exaggerate? Hah! I always downplay fish size so when I really do catch a whopper my buds know it's for real. Not so tough to filet a walleye and pop him into blazing oil (heated instantly by my "blowtorch" camp stove ala Pocket Rocket......no pumping or priming just turn the handle and flick a bic). While it's cooling off I'm washing up. 1/2 hour? No problem unless there is bread involved. Mat, thanks for pointing out the cytomax. That rang a chord with me. I'll probably bite. |
