Title: Re: plastic collapsible water jug Post by BnD on Jul 3rd, 2010 at 9:35pm
I fought with claening disinfecting and drying collapsable water containers my self. However I have found a reasonable solution that works well for me. I use a solution of 2 tablespoons of household bleach per liter of water to clean and disinfect my water containers and filters after a trip including water bottles. I have never noticed a plastic taste, but then again my wife would tell you I have no taste buds anyway. The baking soda would work well after you hae the container disinfected and dry.
I really like Denton Docs water container idea. Easy to clean and dry after usage for sure. These guys are the camping masters. Paddle On:) |
