Greetings.  My wife and I are discussing taking our 8 mo. old out for a couple of hours in the canoe down a local river.  There are no rapids to speak of and 99% of the water is about knee deep.  No high adventure here, more like a stroll through the park.  Jr. would have his own life vest but she still thinks Im crazy and worried that "bad things" could happen.  Id love to hear about any experiences anyone else has had with a little one.
