Title: fishing lake trout in BWCA
Post by Big_Al on Oct 1st, 2010 at 6:28pm
I am looking for some advise on what lakes are good for fishing lake trout next spring.   Would prefer to go to BWCA lake.  Seems like most lakes wrote about in the Boundary waters Journal are in Quetico.  It also looks like Quetico Park is getting very very expensive to go to, so perfer BWCA.   I would like to take my grandson (9 yrs old) with me.  He is a very avid fisherman -all He thinks about is fishing -He is also very good at fishing.  Since He never has been on a canoe trip, I am looking for a "not so tough" trip.    I have never went fishing for lake trout, so no very little about it.  If someone knows about some good lakes, would appreciate their suggestions.  Note: have Furtman's book on fishing.

PS: I am new to this board, so hope I am doing this correct
