The couple actually wanted to have the wedding ceremony on the trip.  Can't a captain of the ship (or canoe) marry a couple?  :D

but, they wanted us to get an official certification.  

Anyway, can't be all bad to have a spouse that treasures the canoe country, and will even put up with canoeing with a bunch of grubby bums on a cold October trip (I'm talking about the husband).
