If you want wolves just throw  your head back and let loose with your best howl. It is best done at night and the wolves will usually respond. Sometimes they will howl back before coming in to see what wolf pack has dared enter their turf. Other times they may come in really close before letting loose with a howl. It may take a half hour so be patient. It is easiest to see proof of this in the snow. If in doubt come back the next day and check for their tracks around yours.

For obvious reasons I have only done this a few times. One family I know in northern MN call as a team. Each imitate a different wolf calling. They are really good at it.
