Title: Betsy and Saganaga

I received the larger, expanded version of "Betsy and Saganaga" with wonderful colour and black and white photos. It is now available online and can be seen at   (You need to Login or Register  You can click on Preview Book and then look at thumbnails of pictures and click on what you want to see in larger version. The photos really capture a period of time on Saganaga when people had home built snowmachines (pages 108-109), put up large amount of ice (90-93), and built airplane hangers made of poles and sawn logs alongside their docks (110-11). Frank Powell apparently started flying a wooden plane and temporaly stopped flying when wooden planes were banned in Canada in 1932. The story of the Powell family on Saganagons and Saganaga is an amazing one and Betsy became part of the saga when she married Frank Powell.
