Title: Re: walleye fishing on boot lake Post by putty_tat on Jan 19th, 2011 at 11:22pm
Thanks for the welcome and the info you have shared. I am in no way asking anyone to give up their hard earned honey hole. Here in central Iowa it would not be expected to pinpoint where you are finding Morrels. I was just looking for ball park idea on the population of the lake and sizes people have experienced. I am not a rookie when it comes to fishing in BW but obviously am a rookie when it comes to this forum so thanks for helping straighten my expectations.
I agree with live bait being the ticket and crawlers can be finicky to keep in good condition. I have become pretty partial to using leeches and slip bobbers and have not gone hungry. |
