Someone passed on a large can of tomato powder to me some time ago and i haven't done anything with it until last week. 2tbs / 1 cup of water yields a tomato juice that was surprisingly tasty. I made a quick rue to thicken it up a bit, along with some traditional Italian seasoning and ended up with an excellent... pizza sauce. but with some tweaking i'm certain this stuff can make a great marinara.
